SBE’s Dr. Rachel Fowler discusses her latest paper in the Schoodic Institute’s newsletter

Rachel Fowler:

“In our latest article using paleolimnology techniques to compare recovery from acid deposition in Jordan Pond and Seal Cove Pond, we suggest that light plays an important role in driving algal biomass in Jordan Pond, especially deeper in the water column where there are often greater concentrations of nutrients.”
