Jacquelyn Gill receives NSF CAREER Award
Congratulations to Jacquelyn Gill, assistant professor of paleoecology and plant ecology, who has recently won an NSF CAREER Award for $800,000 for her research project, Environmental Change and Extinction on the Mammoth Steppe! This project aims to use data collected to build a virtual reality to act as a teaching device and help students gain a better understanding of the Ice Age.
