Requirements and Recommended Curriculum for Medical Lab Sciences

Total Credit Hours: 120

Medical Laboratory Sciences majors require a minimum cumulative 2.5 GPA in all courses required for their major to be considered for admission to most practicum programs in their senior year.  The senior year practicum meets the general education requirements for the senior capstone experience and writing intensive in the major.  A minimum of 16 credits of chemistry is required by the National Accrediting Agency for Medical Laboratory Science.

Students may earn the B.S. in Medical Laboratory Sciences by completing the curriculum as follows and meeting the general education requirements of the University.
