SBE Content Designer/Reporter Job Description

The School of Biology and Ecology is looking for an undergraduate or graduate student to manage the SBE Web site. This job entails tracking down interesting stories in SBE, interviewing the participants, and posting features about them to the site. You will also perform routine updates and edits to the site using WordPress. The position will require good writing skills, strong general computer skills, basic HTML skills, and some photography. This is a great opportunity to practice your journalism skills, learn about blogging, or simply stay involved with what is going on in the School of Biology and Ecology. Students who have had a combined interest in biology and journalism have done very well in the position in the past and have entered related professional positions after graduating.
